Hi, I am Sara, owner of Pāpāmoa Property Management.
I am also a mother, long-time business owner, homeowner, landlord, and lover of fresh ocean air! I love hosting family events and anything that gives them a reason to come home. Other empty-nesters might be able to relate to that, I guess that is why I find myself investing a lot of my time and energy into my business - because when you do not have to dedicate so much of your day-to-day life to raising your kids, you find yourself with a lot of extra time on your hands!
In some way, shape or form, I have been emersed in the property industry my whole life. My father was a builder, I married a builder, and my eldest son is a builder. Earlier in my career I was a property manager, then in 2012, I started a pre-purchase inspection business which I successfully ran for over 10 years.
I am a homeowner, a landlord, and have been a tenant, so when it comes to building, real estate and property management, I know a thing or two. I hear far too many stories where a tenant has felt like the property manager is judging them or just assuming the worst, and it should not be that way. I aim to have a great relationship with every single one of my tenants, where they feel comfortable talking to me about anything at any time and are always treated with respect.
I want a culture where both tenants and landlords feel grateful to be connected with Papamoa Property Management. In my experience, this is also the most effective way to ensure tenants treat their property with respect.
